Reported Exported (video) slide show behaviour not the same as application (full screen)

I am trying to export a .exe slide show with video files as input. They play just fine in the main irfanview application (they stretch to full-screen, like I set in the options), but when I export them out, they do not stretch, they remain the original size, and are anchored to the upper-left corner of the screen (unless I turn on Directshow, then they are placed in the center).

Btw, I am using the newest version of the application and plugins (4.32) on W7 64-bit
