I often have many windows open and minimized. I have configured to have images open with fit to window set by default (many, many of my images are very large -- several thousand pixels by several thousand pixels).
After going into screensaver mode and then coming back all of the windows are sized original size so I can only see a tiny corner of the images. I have to hit F twice (once to set the internal flag telling IrfanView that I don't want fit to window and again telling it that I do). After doing this F works as expected.
Also, all of the taskbar titles are empty, just "IrfanView".
If I have 40 images open I have no way of knowing which one is which without opening up each window one by one and hitting F twice until I find the one that I want. This can become VERY time consuming.
This happens whether it's a bitmap, jpeg, or Canon RAW file.
And, I'm a software engineer, so I run several different operating systems, it does this on all of them.
Here's the list of operating systems that I currently am using:
Windows 2008 R2 Datacenter Edition
Windows 7 Professional
Windows 7 Ultimate
Windows 8 Preview
Windows Vista
Hope this helps!
