Using the "i" toolbar button on an image that has been read from a 48bit tiff, iv4.32 states "original colors 16,7 Millions (48 BitsPerPixel)" and also "current colors 16,7 Millions (24 BitsPerPixel)". Obviously, these can't both be right. The number for 48 bits is wrong. (And actually needs to be the square of that number.)
