Reported Freezing when color correcting

Odd problem I've not experienced before updating:

Opening a jpg image (either by dragging in or right clicking on image, does not matter). Cropping works fine.

However, when attempting to modify brightness / contrast / color with the color correction feature, the upper bar goes gray and the program locks up.

No error message. And not file size dependant.

Thoughts?

Took your advise, installed the plugins. No change, still freezes with the grayed out top bar.

This has been reported previously. See here, but the issue did not appear to be resolved.

Only those who can reproduce the problem can investigate it, unfortunately.
