Deleting directories removes wrong directory

I frequently experience a problem when deleting directories in the Thumbnails view: Instead of deleting the marked directory, it deletes the parent directory of it or the second last marked directory. Fortunately, I usually get it back from the trashcan, but not if the directory is on the NAS.

I haven't yet found a system when this exactly happens, but it happens once or twice a week to me. I can definitely see that the right directory is marked. It happens both when marking the directory and pressing the "del" key or when using the right-click menu.

I noticed that if you right click on a directory and click Properties it shows the parent directory.
