Effects Not Limited To Selection

It seems to have fixed itself. I uninstalled it then reinstalled it again. Thanks for your help!

When I make a selection, only the selection is shown in the Effects Dialog Preview. In your case, it is showing the entire image.

I usually use the browser, but I tried it straight from the menu as well.

It works fine for me. Are you using the Effects Browser?

Trying to select a portion of a photo to blur does not seem to work any more. I open the picture, select the area I want to apply an Effect to (blur, pixelize, swirl, etc), but the effect is applied to the entire photo, not the selected area.

I reinstalled the 32 bit version, and the plugins, but here I am.
