I use IrfanView for many years because it is small, lightweight, fast en it requires no installation. Just as any application should be.
Lately I have to do some maintenance on automated gui players and those rely on screenshots that must have a 100% match with a specific region the actual screen.
So I use a external program like photoshop or paintshop to get the exact coordinates of a specific region of a screenshot.
IrfanView has a function build in, but to activate that you need to push (and hold) the left mouse button to show the pixel coordinates in the window titlebar and at the same time draw a rectangle selection box.
So to the point, could it be possible to have a option in the settings or a hotkey combination to turn on the displaying of the coordinates and the colorpicker without having to push the leftbutton, and when you do push the left mouse button the same function as it is, show coordinates and color and draw a rectangle and information about the size of the rectangle?
My request looks a bit similar to the requested feature from psydef posted on 12.03.2013.
