Hi,
Irfanview is finally in 64 bits, yes, but it didn't work on Windows XP x64 Edition.
Since Irfanview is compatible with most of the old Windows operating systems, why not make it available for this last?
So, could you please recompile it to support this system?
Thank you.
Note: Windows XP Professional x64 Edition uses the same kernel and code tree as Windows Server 2003 and is serviced by the same service pack. However, it includes client features of Windows XP such as System Restore, Windows Messenger, Fast User Switching, Welcome Screen, Security Center and games, which Windows Server 2003 does not have.
Now you can update your F.A.Q. for this part : http://www.irfanview.com/faq.htm#Q19
Please notice the actual problem with Windows XP x64 Edition, or not if you plan to resolve this issue !
