Requested Slideshow to movie

instead of relying on a Full Nero application for slideshow creation it would be ideal to create just a movie file (avi,mpg,whatever)

You're asking IV to become some all-in-one solution, and that's not the aim of the program.

I don't quite understand the Nero-thing.
Do you want to burn a CD, or just generating a movie-file ?

a movie file would be beneficial since everyone doesn't use Nero.
As a workaround I've been using Snagit to record movie from screen (creates an avi).

Reason for using IV? - a lot of photo-to-dvd software like PhotoStory, Picasa, etc. don't provide text captions based on filename
