There should be an easier way to access the IPTC information. As I understand it, it is now a plugin. However, when browsing the thumbnails, there is no apparent way to either add plugins or access the IPTC information.

I am not sure about being able to install plug-ins from the thumbnail window but a way of accessing information about the image highlighted in that window would be useful.
The keyboard shortcut for Information (I) is another of those annoying cases where it is accepted when thumbnails is the active window but the information displayed is that for the image in the main window, not what you just highlighted.
