One of my biggest complaints about Vista or W7 is the inability to customize the image file type context menus to put my alternate choices at the top.
This saves always having to take the “Open With” (multiple choice test) to open a Image in an alternate program like Photoshop.
I’ve found out how to hack the registry entries for Irfanview to Customize each Image file type to customize the Context menu .. something like attached.
In the case of a gif file as shown, since it may be animated or have transparency …
I may want to open it in Explorer to see how it’ll look on the web ..
or in Photoshop’s Image Ready to get all the animated frames ..
or just send it to Photoshop for advanced editing.
I’m just wondering if there’s a way to make a program to do this customizing for Irfanview.
Maybe, This could be included (as an Option) in the Set External Editors Properties ??
