    Requested Viewing .mdi files

Would it be possible to work with .mdi (Microsoft Document Imaging) files please?
I have founfd that if I send them to people, hardly anyone can read them, so I would like to be able to save them as .pdf files if possible.
I can do it at the moment by first saving them as a .tif file, then saving as a .pdf using Irfanview.
Ideally, I would like to cut out about four steps!

This is one of the nice file formats defined by MS ;-)
They took the TIFF format but replaced the magic with their own value. Then they added some private tags to embed a EMF of the document with their own packing to the file.

Share your images as a standard tif, or print them via a pdf printer or use the batch conversion of Irfanview to create the pdfs.
