Requested KB short-cut for "Save for Web" (Riot)

Is it possible to assign a Keyboard shortcut for items that dont have one? Like "Save for Web" ?

Do remember that you can use the access keys for just about any item on the menu. It is a few more keystrokes, but still useful at times.
In your case press Alt+F to display the File drop down with the access key letter underlined. Since "Save for Web" is the second option with "r" underlined, you would need to press "r" twice to go there, and then Enter to activate it.

It is unusual to assign the same access key twice in the same menu, so presumably Irfan does not consider " Save for Web" to be high priority. Almost all the single stroke hotkeys are already assigned, so I imagine you would need to get the support of a number of users to persuade Irfan to assign one of the few remaining to this function.

Iwas using 4.28 - Win 7, and saw no underlines on any memu items? So I installed 4.30 amd got the same thing, no under_scores on any menu item.

Are you on a Mac?

Have you read my post carefully? The key sequence is Alt+F, r, r, Enter

You will only see the underscores if you open the File menu drop down by pressing Alt+F. You do not see them if you just click on the Menu bar although the sequence r,r,enter will still work (as long as you have an image open). Should work on any version of Windows or Irfanview but definitely works on Win 7 and Irfanview 4.30 - that's what I have got.

I second the request for a dedicated keyboard shortcut - I use this feature all the time.
