Lossless editing of the Resolution tag in JPG

Hi,
Irfanview can modify IPTC or Comment metadata losslessly in JPG files. I would like to see this feature expanded so that it includes the Resolution tag. The Resolution tag is frequently missing, but it is useful for, say, loading JPG files into Excel.

You can edit the resoluition in DPI using the plugin JPG_transform.dll via Options -> JPG Lossless Rotation. You don't have to rotate, but it will always recompress the file depending on the optimized checkbox, which is still lossless, but can take some time with a large image.
