Batch verification of image files

Good afternoon,

I can see that Irfanview will batch convert, but will it batch validate/verify?

I was using a genealogy programme yesterday and a particular image seemed fine (the genealogy prog holds a thumbnail) until I tried to open the image. Irfanview said the file was bad (although it did open using SnagIT Editor).

I would like to be able to send a command line to Irfanview for it to verify a whole drive or set of folders.

Or can it already do this?
