Requested Sugsestion: add an "auto-refresh file listing" option

Suppose that you use a download manager in order to download a large number of image files.
And, after a few seconds, only 10 pics are downloaded, and the procedure continues.
If you double click on one of these 10 images to view in Irfanview,
then you can cycle only through the files that existed at the time you started Irfanview - not the new image files too,
that they are downloaded and added at the current folder.

Also, even if you reach the end of the filelist, and choose at the prompt to continue at the current folder,
the new files cannot be viewed, and the file count display doesn't get updated.

The only way to view them is to press F5 or U "Refresh (display and directory list)"


I'd like, please, you to add an extra/optional "Auto-refresh" file listing option.
I think that it would be very handy.

Agree with you but I think this should not default to Auto-Refresh because if one has a lot of images in one directory it takes long to do an update. On my directory I have more than 20 000 images and it takes almost a minute for IV to response if I do a refresh.
