My Canon PS model is the S95. When using IV ver 4.36 including plugins ver 4.36(IV option, canon crw/cr2 dlls, selected) to open a S95 *.cr2 file, it appears IV opens a preview image vice the higher resolution *.cr2 image (1600x1200 vice 3648x2736). When I try the same file with IV(option, try to load embedded preview image, not selected) IV returns a pop up saying, "foldername\*.cr2:decode error! Can't start canon dlls." I read in the ver 4.36 "read me_canon.txt" file that the supported camera list stops at Canon powershot S70. I also read a IV ver 4.10 forum thread (30.07.2008, 02:06 PM by Lardog) about "raw" files and found "Note: this PlugIn requires additional Canon DLLs. You can download these DLLs with the Canon ZoomBrowser program:".
My older *.crw raw files, taken with an S40, open at the "shot" resolution using IV ver 4.36.
If canon zoom browser dll files is what I need for the S95 *.cr2 raw files, how do I download them and to which folder do they get copied?
