Cursor file format= .cur & .ani supported?

    Hi everyone

I've been a registered user of irfan for 15 or so years & this is the 1st question that I couldn't find the answer to!

Using the latest version, I know I can import .cur files, with a plugin. But it seems I can't modify them & save or export them as a .cur. Irfan can do both with .ico files however.

Am I missing something here, or is it not possible.

I have both Photoshop CS2 & Corel Photopaint, but they also can't save in those formats.

Any clarification would be nice, thanks.

Save the image as ico and rename it to cur. It should work.
    My system: IrfanView 4.62 64bit, Windows 10 22H2, Intel Core i5-3570, 16GB RAM, NVidia GTX 1050Ti 4GB

Except that you can't define the offset of the active point away from the top left corner to match the design such as the point of a finger or the center of a symmetric arrow.

True, setting the cursor hot spot is not supported. Even the icon support is limited. ICO can carry multiple icons of different size in the single file, IrfanView can only read such files.
Adding edititing capabilities for any animation is probably not going to happen.

Thanks for the assistance folks...looks like irfan can't do what I'd hoped.
