Off-color batch conversions
A problem I've never seen before is now occurring with Irfanview, both on my laptop and desktop. When I batch convert large jpgs to web size (shot in sRGB as usual), I'm getting off colors--sometimes a magenta cast in shadows, along with blue appearing green--as in green sky--and the reverse, green appearing blue or purplish. I've checked to see if the color space is correct in the batch conversion window and it is. Checking the "auto color correction" box does seem to help a great deal, though I don't recall having to use it in the past, but still there are small images that just don't faithfully match the originals. Can anyone suggest what I may be doing wrong and how to correct the problem?
