    border removal

Hi,wondered if someone could point me in the right direction.

Recently,i batch processed around 500 pics (of various sizes) with a 8 pixel border. Pretty good,i thought,& fast.

However,i've sinced changed my mind about the borders,& would now like to remove them. Here's where i'm getting stuck.

Obviously i can crop them out manually (which'll take forever & a day),but i cannot for the life of me fathom how to do it in a batch command?

(ie-take off 8 pixels all sides)

i know i could use the custom crop, but as all the images are of varying sizes,it wouldn't work as i have to specify an output size.

I'm assuming this can be done,as it's easy top add borders in a batch,am i right in assuming you can remove them just as easily?

    many thanks in advance!

You can crop 2 of the edges at a time with Batch editing, so you can do what you want with two passes. Set the X and Y dimensions to 8, and the width and height to large numbers (bigger than any of your image sizes). On the first pass select Bottom Right to remove two of the borders you added and on the second pass select Top Left to remove the other two.
