Hi

Just to say Since the upgrade to 4.56 thumbnails stopped working...

It used to work that open a file in a directory, press T thumbnails opens in new thumbnails window

Now just thumbnails window opens, no images...

Please advise

Do you start IrfanView as admin? This is essential. You also might need to use another setting, as marked in the screenshot.

Thanks, I was running under admin privilidges, but was not working.

Setting the check as you suggest does work,however, but it puts data into the registry which I avoid by running in portable mode.

Running IrfanView as Administrator every time is not necessary. It's needed only for saving the settings.
