I've been using IrfanView for years now on various platforms. It's got to be the worlds' best simple editor !!
Unfortunately I can't use it any more because if I save ANY edited JPG the saved image is grayscale. Any help appreciated!
No, I do not have the Properties/JPG "Load as grayscale" checked! The un-edited JPGs load just fine in full color, and the editing works fine as well. It's only the SAVE function that converts to grayscale. Earlier revisions worked just fine. This problem is on four machines now; W2K and XP. Do I need to pay now to save in color? If so, it is not obvious.
