Save and Save As dialog box gone fullscreen

I'm using a laptop. I was saving a file in Irfanview and my finger slipped. Suddenly my Irfanview Save As dialog box went full screen. Now every time I Save or Save As, the dialog box is full screen. It's a nuisance because it blocks out my view of the desktop.
Any idea how to get the Save As dialog box back to its normal size?
No other program is doing this. Only Irfanview.

In case anyone else has this problem, apparently it's a Windows shortcut thing.

Many people had trouble making the large size of ComDlg32 boxes stick. Special software had been written (PowerDesk Dlg Helper), hacked DLLs distributed. Now you want to shrink the box.

Try to open the system command of the dialog by pressing ALT+Space.
Select "Size" from the menu poping up.
The first cursor key selects the border to use for resize.
The following cursor keys change the size.
