IrfanView and HP LaserJet CP 1515n printer

Hello!

It is ages that I use IrfanView, but now there is a problem that really puzzles me.

In the office my PC is connected to two printers, and i could print images in color using both of them. Now one of the printers has been replaced by the new HP Color LaserJet CP 1515n. And if I try to print an image in color, it prints in black and white!

Now, there is of course nothing wrong with IrfanView, since I can print in color using the other printer. But there is nothing wrong with the new printer either, because if i embed the same image e.g. in a word document it will be printed in color.

To summarize: IrfanView and my new HP LaserJet CP 1515n printer... well, they seem to hate each other. But why?!?

Did you check in the printer settings (from IV) if it is set to print only in BW?

Magically, a few seconds later I solved!

For the log, I had tried everything in the color settings of IrfanView, but the thing that eventually made a difference was

in File -> Printer -> PrinterSetup

in the section Page, in "Feeding", I changed from AutomaticSelection to AutomaticSelectionPrinter.
(the names might be slightly different, my copy of IrfanView is in Italian and I am translating them to English)
