    Irfanview V4.20 Command line option

    Hello
    This is my first post,
I use Windows XP Pro SP2.
I just downloaded V4.20, mainly because it has a new option - a setting for output file size for .jpg file save.

This is great and I've been waiting for this for a long time.

Is there a command line switch/option to invoke a requested file size generation? I cannot find it in the Help files or FAQ.
    Thanks
    Frank1

Anything involving one of the more complex plugins--in this case the new RIOT dll--involves a lot more than just IrfanView commands. So far, I don't think there are any commands available for it. You would have to ask Lucian Sabo ( http://luci.criosweb.ro/riot/ ) about that. He might add some in the future if enough of us whimper
    Its: Belongs to "It"
It's: Shortened form of "It is"
    ---------------------
    Lose: Fail to keep
    Loose: Not tight

    ---------------------
    Plurals do not require apostrophes

Thank you matera for your reply.
At the moment I do multiple saves with multiple quality percentages and pixel sizes to obtain the file size I want.
So, I also hope that many people ask Lucian Sabo at his website for this feature. I just did.
      Thanks again

Received a reply from the riot.dll author on his website.

He suggests that this is up to Irfanview and more people should ask Irfanview for the feature.

        Thanks
