    "The disk is full!"

    When I try to batch-convert:

    I get this:

But I have 273 GB free on the destination drive! What's going on?

I found that it works when I run IrfanView as administrator. But why would it try to write to a write-protected folder? I told it to save ini files to the user's Application Data folders, it shouldn't need to write anything in Program Files!

It appears to be the folder where you are trying to put the jpeg that you are having trouble writing to, not the one containing the ini file.

Most definitely not. I triple-checked the destination folder for writability, and tried all kinds of output folders, including on different drives.

I suspect this is because as a limited user you can't write c:\Program Files\IrfanView\i_view32.ini. Look at Settings not preserved and follow one of the methods.
