vertical RGB lines on PSD files ?

Hi,

We are experiending a problem whereby Photoshop PSD files we open using the latest version of IrfanView on XP, appear with vertical red, green and blues lines on them!!
It's almost like a monitor/display that is out of convergence ie, the egb channels are not converged.

Has anybody else seen this problem before ? I have taken a screenshot of the problem if anyone os interested in seeing it for themselves.

Hi,

The PSD files we are using are very big. I can show you a screenshot of what we are seeing if that helps ?

Does IrfanView handle 16 bit per channel PSD files OK ? Was wandering if thats a clue to the problem here ? I attempted to open these PSD files using GIMP and it can't as GIMP cannot open PSDs higher than 8 bit apparently ?

A screen capture is not useful for me. Does the problem happen only with big files?
