not able to print image

have a new dual core laptop with vista. 4 gig 250 HD. I copy and paste an image into Irfanview. Then > file >print ...nothing happens

Do you mean even the Print dialog doesn't display?

Can you print for example text from a word processor?

not sure what you mean by print dialog , after file>print ....nothing comes up ,no printing pop up windows,choices..... nothing happens ...zilch

Printing works fine otherwise ,except with Irfanview program.

My old comp , always printed from Irfanview , could mark up charts etc.

That is what I meant. Does it change anything if you rename your i_view32.ini to i_view32.bak so that IrfanView can't retrieve previous settings?

Just tried to print a chart and everything working good. This was the first thing I tried to print today. Yesterday I had done some other printing before trying to print from Irfanview , maybe that has something to do with it . Thanks for your quick responses
