    Hi friends,
I want to convert number of images in to particular image format using irfanview's batch conversion utility. But i want to execute it through my own program.Means i will decide source of images and also destination of images programatically and will fire some command internally then by using this irfanview
can we convert image format.I am using java as development language. Means i want to plug this irfanview in to my program. If anybody have done this type of plugin please tell me some suggestion it will be very helpful for me.

Years ago I did Basic on my Commodore64 and that's all, so I don't know much about nowadays Java. But it should be possible some ways, because Total Commander can use 'this' IrfanView as a plugin (to configure by the user in the Intern Viewer/Editor). Good luck and succes with IrfanView

IrfanView hasn't any APIs, the only commands you can give to it are the command line ones.

The latest stable IrfanPaint version is the 0.4.13.70.
IrfanPaint is now open-source (released under BSD license).
