Panorama Image

Hi,
Under thumbnail section,the option under the file menu which states start the panorama dialogue with the selected files, what does it mean?

I know what a panorama image is but when i try to create one it doesnt seem to merge the photos? i can see two separate images?

Can someone help?

As the dialog says, first select the files you want to use for the panorama, f.e. with Ctrl+click.

Then start the panorama dialog. You will see your selected files in the listbox.

Then choose horizontal or vertical and check if the files are in the right order.
Because the first one gets on top (V) or at the left (H).

Then do 'Create image'. As you can see in the titlebar, the result is now in the clipboard.

So you'll have to save the result with a new filename. Done.

Be careful, the main viewer window must be open when you try to create it, in order to see the resultant panorama. Otherwise, it seems to not get created.
