For a book scanning project I am interested in cropping a consistently sized image from a number of different images.
For example, I may have 10 photographs (1600x1200 pixels) that each show a different page in a book. The page in each photo is 1300x970 px, but the page is not exactly in the same place on each image, so I have to redraw the selected box for each image, but I want it to be the same size each time, 1300x970.
I know I can use the 'create custom crop selection' (shift c), but this seems clunky at best. Possibly I am not using it correctly. Each time I have to manually re-enter the size of my desired selection, despite clicking 'save current values,' and then I have to manually move the selection, using the right mouse button, to the desired location.
This IrfanView noob appreciates any help on this.
Thanks,
ArtMan
