Batch op: Filter Before resizing?

Hi, I'm having trouble with the batch mode in that, I want to apply a median filter to images before I resize them. Because each of these image sets can take 1/2 hour to process, I would like to perform all functions in one batch job.

Is there any way to change the order of operations in batch mode?

Unfortunately, there is no way to prioritize batch options in IrfanView. You would have to run two or more batch jobs consecutively. A batch file and INI could do it for you, so you wouldn't have to go back and run the next one. Are you willing to try that?

If not, XnView can prioritize batch options.

I actually thought of that late 'last night', but wanted to put it off in case I received a reply telling that I am missing something really obvious in the GUI.
