So far, I have been using IrfanView Batch Processing to resize my images from the camera to 12 inches on the long side at 100 dpi. Then I use Add Overlay Text to automatically insert copyright text with the following options:
***********
X-Coord: 2, Width: 675; Left Bottom
Y-Coord: 2, Height: 15
Text: ©2007 D. Lamar Hawkins. All Rights Reserved. www.dlamarhawkins.com
Font: Copperplate Gothic Light, Size 12
Text Alignment: Left
***********
This works perfectly with images in the portrait or landscape orientation.
Now, I want to change the DPI value to 200 dpi, but when the image is resampled at 200 dpi, the overlay text is too small. Since the image is at twice the previous resolution, I increased the font size to 24. Of course the larger text is cut off because the Height & Width settings need to be increased as well. However, I cannot get the full text to display no matter how I adjust the Height, Width, X-Coord, & Y-Coord values. What's wrong? Many thanks!
