Combine 2 JPGs to make 1 JPG, How do I?

Please forgive the awkward thread title but I've been cataloging my record collection all day and I picked up some odd habits. I have to JPG images of both sides of a record label that I want to "merge" or combine into one image. I searched for "collage" before posting this but I really don't need to combine any more than 2 JPGs. Both images look like this, with Side B having a different song title.

IrfanView has the Image\Create Panorama image tool for this.
Just load and add the two together, hor. or vert., to create a new one.
Harvest, nice disk by the way.
