I would like to batch set one or more of the IPTC items with values from a .txt file list. The file can contain the filename of the .jpg files.
When tagging .mp3 files I use a program which allows this type of process, and am hoping that IV can do the same or similar. I've looked through the forum and not found anything which I recognized as an answer, which is not to say that I may have missed or misunderstood something.
Alternatively, I think I can figure out how to use Exiftool for this, but I can't figure out the relation ship between the large number of tag values listed in its documentation and the small number of items in IV's IPTC display. See:
