Batch conversion - default settings?

Was converting jpegs to pdf and playing with the settings when I realized the first version I saved was high quality but no idea of the original settings??

Is there a default setting for batch conversion? JPEG to PDF?

Can someone offer default settings for compression for this?

Also - any insight into which setting might give a more compressed, but still high quality output?
