I am wondering if anyone can offer any advice and point me in the right direction.
I have a large number of images which are of various sizes. I need 3x versions of the images 80x60 , 250x150, 640x480 for a website. I know i can resize the images to fixed dimensions but they will be stretched as it is unproportional to the original size. I can resize them proportionally to solve this but the problem here is my stupid web provider will then stretch an image which may be 80x54 for examle back to 80x60 so i am back to square one. What i wanted to do is resize the images proportionally but then place them on a fixed canvas of the 3 dimensions. i.e. i may end up with images of 80x54,80x40,80x56 when resized proportionally but these would then be stamped onto a fixed canvas of 80x60 so the images all look proportional. Is this possible?
