Making gif images smaller

Hi,

I downloaded this porgram which had been reccomended for altering images easily.

I am currently trying to make a gif image smaller, from 261kb down to at least 200kb but all of the options in the program are just grayed out.

Any help appreciated

You cannot edit animated GIFs in IrfanView. Other software would be required.
