External Webcam

I have an external webcam (Logitech Pro 9000) that I'm trying to use with IrfanView. I can't even get it open to take a picture. Any ideas?

It would help if you mention the Webcam Model, your IrfanView version, and OS Version & Service Pack... perhaps also your AntiVirus package...
