The dialogue box that appears when saving as a jpg file no longer shows. I have reinstalled IrfanView but cannot get the dialogue box to reappear. I wish to compress the images that I save. Can anyone suggest how to make the dialogue box reappear.

Thanks Leif but I had tried this and whether selected or not the dialogue box very briefly appears then disappears.
I just found a solution. If I deselect show options dialogue then select it, the dialogue box will appear. The only problem is that this needs to be done each time that the dialogue box is needed. Still at least I can get at it.John RogersComment
