Is this possible? I have a set of 192x192 png icons that I need to resize to 48x48, but they lose transparency when resized and saved. Is there a way I can get them resized, either with IrfanView or another tool?

When you resize (with IV), the edges will blur, so they won't look right anyway. It would be better to use a dedicated icon editor. Try IcoFX -- it's free and it's better than some that aren't.Its: Belongs to "It"
