Is there a reason why the function 'Color Swap' after a modification doesn't enable Undo ?

I remember someone asking this once before, Sam_Zen, and the general opinion was that you did not need an Undo since a Swap colors action can be reversed by applying another one.
You can get in quite a mess though. To reverse numbers 1, 2 and 4 on the list you need to apply the same one again but to reverse number 3 you need to apply 5 (and 5 to reverse 3). -
Well, it can get messy indeed. It proves the wrong reasoning about skipping the Undo.
If like this, why is Undo enabled after a 'Negative' command ? If I repeat 'Negative', the original is back..Comment

It is a bit inconsistent. Rotate right and Rotate left have no undo though, nor Horizontal and Vertical flips either.
PS: I notice that negate can be applied to a selection as well as to the whole image, so it might not be possible to reverse that if you had lost the selection meanwhile. Swap colors and the rotates and flips can only be applied to the whole image.
That logic does apply elsewhere. Paste into a selection has an undo but Paste whole image does not.Comment
