Batch resizing + optional rotation ?

I often shoot images using my camera's vertical grip. Then I process the shots for web with IrfanView (basically resample to long side, and 15 sharpen) - they are all fine and some programs who detect the orientation from the EXIF display them correctly.

However, is the a way to tell irfanview to rotate the image to 'normal' orientation based on the EXIF data during batch conversion ?

Hi solar_sea,

Options > Properties/Settings > JPG > Auto-rotate...
Of course, you have to set up your camera so that it writes orientation data into the EXIF.
