iView 4.27 will not print (won't print) on Windows 7 (Win 7)

iView 4.27 will not print (won't print) on Windows 7 (Win 7).

No Matter what kind of image it has, or which of several different printers I choose, all of which work on every other application including Windows Picture and Fax Viewer (now in Win 7 inexplicably renamed to Windows Photo Viewer), when I choose Print, I get an hourglass for about 1 second, then the Shiny Donut for about 7 seconds, and that's the end.

I have uninstalled and re-installed iView; no joy.

iView worked perfectly until recently (maybe a month or 2 ago). Sorry, but I don't know what events (new iView, Win 7 updates, etc.) may have occurred that caused the change.

Please advise.

Here's a bit more info: I watch the CPU Usage meter and the default printer queue when I choose Print, and nothng happens in the queue and the CPU meter goes fom 2% at idle to 3% for about 2 seconds than back to idle.

Sometimes after about 1 second the image inside the iView window flashes (I think it goes to black) then back to the image in an eye-blink.
