I read through the posts and found an old one that I did reply to, but I wanted to start an Uninstall string for this issue. It appears that the /silent command line switch may also need an answer file to go along with it in order to complete an unattended uninstall silently. Has anyone created or know the code for creating an answer file for this uninstall box? I have done several answer files for Java uninstalls with VB Scripts, but I have had no luck with this one as of yet.

The silent uninstall is not working for me either. I am running Windows 7 64-bit and can successfully install IrfanView silently, however the uninstall does not work silently.
when using iv_uninstall.exe /silent in CMD, the confirmation window appears.
If anyone can provide any assistance it would be greatly appreciated.Comment
