Direcrtory Keyboard Shortcut Problems

Greetings,

Somehow my keyboard shortcuts ( PgUp PgDn Space ) are not seeing the files in the current directory.

Even though there are 53 images files here, none are listed

XP Home
Irfanview 4.27 ( just updated from 4.25 )

Searched the FAQs and the forum and couldn't find anything relevant.....

My guess is that the operator ( me ) screwed something up, I just haven't figured out what....

What type of image files are in the folder? Could they be RAW files (CR2 or NEF or something)? Is it all image folders or just one?

If you go to Preferenes > Extensions, you'll see a list of file extensions that are associated with IrfanView. Just below that there are two radio buttons which control the file types that IrfanView will recognize while browsing the directory. If custom is selected, there's a text box below with a list of vertical bar delimited extensions. Hopefully the source of your problem can be found there. If not, post a reply and we'll try something else.

This particular directory contains all jpg files
All folders are affected the same way
I have all images files associated to Irfanview.
No video or audio files are associated with Irfanview

The zooming type shortcuts works, it just the browsing keys that are giving me fits.
