I made the switch to Irfanview about a month ago and I love it, but this one thing has been bugging me so much now that I am thinking of getting rid of Irfan from my computer. The thing is, I like the way that Windows orders my pictures numerically (or at least it is the system I am used to). However, Irfan's way of ordering pictures is frustrating.
For example, I could have folders numbered 1-30. In windows, it goes through it like you were counting it. However, in Irfan, it goes 1, 10, 11-19, 2, 20, 21-29, 3. This is equally frustrating with viewing pictures in the same directory, as pressing next/right arrow will often jump to a picture that is NOT the next picture as seen in the window or in Windows Photo Viewer. Is there a way to match Irfan's ordering to that of Windows 7's? If not (which seems likely), is there another picture viewer that does?
