hi, first time poster... sorry if this has been posted b4, but i was wondering how to convert a home made dvd to irfranview, when i put the disc in my comp. i only get the options to watch the movie in windows or real player...thanks....

I'm not familiar with dvd, but I think this has to do with a file association to a certain format.
If you want IrfanView the standard player of a .MPG movie instead of Windoze Media Player, open IV and go to :
Properties ('P') - Extensions. Then enable (check the box) the formats you want to be played by IrfanView.
