Can't open PC day after installation

Hello,
The day after the installation I couldn't open my PC anymore. I remember at the installation we had the choice between install for only one user or for any user. I think I selected 'for any user'. The day after that I had a login popup. I succeeded only once to start the PC. Now the login popup is such kind that I can't login.
Please could this login popup really come from irfanview? Else I have to look further.

IrfanView can't be the cause! Search for something other!

where did you get IrfanView from?
Maybe you got a trojan or something like this.
The question installing for all users or just only you is used for creating the icons in the start menu. The program is located in the program files folder regardless of you choice.

OK. When I start it jumps to the popup. I can't do anything. Maybe I go better to dealer or norton.

Is this perhaps the standard Windows login page that asks you to enter a password? If you have the login page for a different user and you do not know the password then there will be a Switch user button or Icon buttons to let you select your user account. If so find your account and enter your own password, or if you do not use a password, just leave the password box empty.

If this is not the case then what does this popup say? Although I agree that it is very unlikely to have any connection with Irfanview we might be able to give you some help if you tell us that, and also what version of Windows you use and how experienced you are with using computers.
