Hi there. I'm desperate. I live with Irfan, can't work without it.
Just bought a secondhand Dell, it's got:
Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3
I have transferred all my programs over from my Hewlett Packard, and from my IBM Thinkpad.
1- First, I installed my existing copy of IRFANVIEW and PLUGINS, version 4.28; it didn't work, it says all images are unrecognized format.
2- Then, I downloaded it fresh and put it in. Same problem.
3- Then, I grabbed old 4.20 version and plugins and put it in. Same problem.
I literally cannot function without IrfanView. I use it in making slides for home-made videos. I have a huge video I can't complete without it.
Please help! Why won't IrfanView work in my new Dell?
